Iron & Wine Plots Full Band Spring 2025 Tour

As the year draws quickly to a close, Iron & Wine has returned to announce a new tour for 2025. For a slate of 14 new dates, Sam Beam will be joined by a full band to carry on the Light Verse Tour that brought his indie folk project across the country in the summer; like that lauded run, the new outing will celebrate Iron & Wine’s first full-length album in seven years with an expansive string and rhythm ensemble. Beam’s earthy and ethereal compositions will be complimented by immersive live visuals and projections from Manual Cinema, and rising folk star Jobi Riccio will provide support at each show.

Iron & Wine will kick off the 2025 extension of the Light Verse Tour with a performance at The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio on April 8. For the following evening, the band will truck down to the Southeast to perform at Knoxville, Tenn.’s The Mill & Mine before moving on to two dates in North and South Carolina on April 11 and 12. The ensemble will arrive in The Sunshine State for stagings at West Palm Beach, Fla.’s Kravis Center on April 14 and Orlando, Fla.’s Steinmetz Hall on April 15, then wrap the Southeast leg with sets in Birmingham, Ala. and Fayetteville, Ar. on April 17 and 18.

With an April 19 performance at Kansas City, Mo.’s Uptown Theater, Iron & Wine will return to the Midwest for a rapid-fire five stops. After a night at Iowa City, Iowa’s Hancher Auditorium on April 21, the band will assume the spotlight in Madison, Wis., Bloomington, Ill. and Grand Rapids, Mich. on April 22-24. On April 26, Iron & Wine’s new tour will come to a close with a finale at Pittsburgh’s Roxian Theatre.
