James Taylor Announces North American All-Star Band Tour for 2025

Today, Dec. 9, James Taylor has returned to announce his first live dates of 2025, plotting a summer tour across North America. From May to July, the iconic singer-songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will stage 24 headline performances in cities across the US and Canada, returning to an array of high-profile stages with his All-Star Band. Beyond his stacked ensemble of longtime accompanists, Taylor will welcome support from Boston-based folk-pop trio Tiny Habits on all dates.

Taylor will kick off his “An Evening with James Taylor” tour with a performance at Phoenix’s Footprint Center, then start up a 13-show West Coast leg with a follow-up at Palm Desert, Calif.’s Acrisure Arena on May 7. The artist will continue up the Golden State with seven further stops, including double-headers at San Diego’s Rady Shell and Santa Barbara, Calif.’s Santa Barbara Bowl on May 10-11 and 13-14 and a single stand at Stanford, Calif.’s historic Frost Amphitheater on May 16. On May 19, Taylor and his band will stop in at Bend, Ore.’s Hayden Homes Amphitheatre, then later finish the coastal sprint with two nights at Seattle’s Chateau St. Michelle Winery on May 25 and 26.

On June 13 and 14, Taylor will return to Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheater for an idyllic mid-summer booking at the storied outdoor venue. The troubadour and his ensemble will then move to the Midwest, beginning with a June 17 staging at St. Paul, Minn.’s Xcel Center. He’ll continue his round of top-tier venues by heading to Highland Park, Ill.’s Ravinia Festival on June 19 and Cincinnati’s Riverbend Amphitheater on June 23, surrounding a previously announced festival booking at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 21. After a Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio performance on June 24, Taylor will cross over to Canada for a set at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on June 27, then return to the States for a penultimate engagement at Canandaigua, N.Y.’s CMAC on June 29 and a grand finale at Gilford, N.H.’s BankNH Pavilion on July 1.
