Javier Colon and Sammi Garett to Join Deep Banana Blackout for Annual Thanksgiving Show

Javier Colon and Sammi Garett will join Deep Banana Blackout for their annual Funksgiving show this year. The Connecticut-based group’s traditional Thanksgiving event will take place at Fairfield, CT’s FTC Warehouse on Wednesday,  November 24. The original Deep Banana lineup will play a full set and Colon and Garett will join in for a second set that pays tribute to Stevie Wonder. Colon is a former member of Derek Trucks Band as well as a winner of The Voice while Garett played in Turkuaz until recently. 

In related news, DBB guitarist Fuzz recently released a seasonal cover of “Feliz Navidad.” The tune was recorded with guitarist Ricardo Reyes.
