Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell is the latest guest on the SPIN Presents Lipps Service podcast, during which he and host Scott Lipps chat about the artist’s fourth solo album, I Want Blood, which features guest spots from members of Metallica, Faith No More and the Dillinger Escape Plan.

Cantrell further touches on the formation of Alice in Chains and meeting late lead singer Layne Staley, early tours with Ozzy Osbourne and Van Halen, writing music with Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and the camaraderie amongst the musicians in the grunge-era Seattle music scene.
