Joan Osborne, Phil Lesh Tribute Set for Sweetwater Music Hall  

Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall will host the the Music Heals International Annual Benefit Concert next month. Slated to take place on December 9, the evening will feature performances by singer Joan Osborn, the debut of the MHI Female All Stars–which brings together Holly Bowling, Angeline Saris,  Daria Johnson and Bella Rayne–and Haitian singer songwriter Paul Beaubrun. In addition, the concert will honor Phil Lesh with a special set of music from a mix of performers who worked with the bassist during the past 60 years: David Nelson, Melvin Seals, Jay Lane, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Pete Sears, Barry Sless, Mookie Siegel and Elliott Peck. 

Osborne also toured with Lesh as a member of The Dead in 2003 and took part in various Phil Lesh & Friends lineups, while Bowling as a member of more recent Phil Lesh & Friends linueps. Additional special guests are expected.
