For a hit of “Dopamine,” John Summit‘s your man.

That, of course, is a reality that the crowds assembled at EDC Las Vegas‘ 2021 return know well, and after a seven-set, 20-plus DJing tear that coincided with the festival weekend, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 continues to put foot to pedal, pushing his spin on Purple Disco Machine and Eyelar‘s original to DSPs.

The two-artist team up won streamers’ attentions with the track, which racked up more than 9 million Spotify streams since its August 27 release. With his reputed tech-house touch, Summit says move over, “Dopamine,” for there’s a new take in town set to attract its own high tally of play counts. The energetic take from one of the most buzz-ridden names in modern dance music joins fellow alternative versions from The Reflex and Anna Lunoe, who stepped up to the “Dopamine” remix plate in early October.
