Jon Batiste Receives Eleven Grammy Award Nominations

Virtuoso pianist, bandleader, educator, singer and television personality Jon Batiste has been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards. Among his nominations are the Awards for Best R&B Album, Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, Best Music Video, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Improvised Jazz Solo, Best American Roots Performance, Best American Roots Song, Record Of The Year, Album of The Year and Best Classical Instrumental Solo.

Batiste had a monumental year with the release of his R&B album We Are which was dropped on March 19, 2021, his compositions on the incredible, heart-wrenching Disney and Pixar film Soul and his everlasting and massively positive presence on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He discussed the album with Relix, in a Track By Track feature earlier this year.
