k?d remixes Hikaru Utada’s ‘One Last Kiss’

k?d is paving his return with an ambient remix of Hikaru Utada’s “One Last Kiss.” Speeding up the original’s BPM to place his own unique spin on the single, k?d ramps up song with a jittering energy. Isolating the vocals to create an echo, k?d manages to completely transform the cut into his own. Hikaru Utada’s “One Last Kiss” appeared in Neon Genesis Evangelion, k?d noted, adding that once he heard it, he had to get his hands on the track:

“As you guys know i’m a huge Evangelion fan, so I couldn’t resist remixing it. Also this artwork took me forever to draw!!! It’s been a while since i posted a k?d track, enjoy!!!!”

“One Last Kiss” is k?d’s second track of the year, following his collaboration with Steve Aoki, “BIB,” released at the start of 2021. In more recent months, k?d has been busy with the festival circuit, sharing an exclusive mix with Dancing Astronaut ahead of his set at HARD Summer 2021.
