Kanye West’s newest album ‘Vultures 1’ is disappearing from streaming services after FUGA, the distributor said it was distributed in violation of its terms.

Digital Music News reported last year that Kanye and Ty Dolla $sign were looking for a distributor for their music last year. Since then, Nicki Minaj, Ozzy Osbourne, and the Donna Summer estate have expressed their disinterest in being included on the album, which hit streaming services on February 10. Now it looks like the album might be ripped down entirely.

A new Billboard report suggests FUGA is working to take the album down after the release. “Late last year, FUGA was presented with the opportunity to release ‘Vultures 1,’” a FUGA spokesperson told Billboard. “Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so. On Friday, February 9, a long-standing FUGA client delivered the album through the platform’s automated processes—violating our service agreement. Therefore, FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the client to remove ‘Vultures 1′ from our systems.”

At the time of writing, Vultures 1 has disappeared from Apple Music where it was previously available. For now, the album still appears on Spotify—minus the track “Good (Don’t Die)” featuring Donna Summer that received a copyright infringement complaint by the Donna Summer estate.

“Kanye West asked permission to use Donna Summer’s song ‘I Feel Love,’ he was denied. He changed the words, had someone re-sing it or used AI but it’s ‘I Feel Love.’ Copyright infringement!” the estate wrote on Instagram on Saturday when the album was officially released.

A cursory check of several other DSPs like Tidal and Deezer reveal the album is still available for now. It also appears that Kanye has uploaded the album to his official SoundCloud account (minus the Donna Summer feature track). So fans who can’t find the music on Apple Music can at least lean on SoundCloud for the music, I suppose.
