Lemonade Baby offers fourth single of 2021—stream ‘You’re Bad For Me’

Brisbane-born producer Lemonade Baby recently dispatched his fourth single of the calendar year, “You’re Bad For Me.” The indie-house offering arrives via Mammal Sounds Records, right on the heels of “Ex Best Friend,” which landed earlier this year on the same Australian imprint.

“You’re Bad For Me” draws from an array of electronic subgenres; organic and raw yet flawlessly mixed, “You’re Bad For Me” is a modern electronic gem. Lemonade Baby said of the writing process,

“‘You’re Bad For Me’ started with the piano chords, and then I slapped in some drums. I had a vibe down in about 15 minutes. And by the end of the day, I had a backing track done as well. The lyrics were written maybe 3 months later when I had something I wanted to write about…It’s kinda about being open with yourself about how someone is bad for you, much like how some would say that sugar is bad for you.”
