Linkin Park has scored its fourth No. 1 LP in the U.K. with From Zero, their first full-length release since the passing of former lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017.

The nu-metal band’s eighth studio album is also the first to feature new members Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain. It joins 2003’s Meteora, 2007’s Minutes to Midnight and 2012’s Living Things in their tally of chart-toppers on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.

In September, following a seven-year hiatus, Linkin Park released comeback single “The Emptiness Machine,” which peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, and entered the Official U.K. Singles Chart at No. 4. The band has since gone on to announce a massive world tour for 2025 with dates across the U.K., Europe, North America and South America, including a night at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 28 with special guests Spiritbox and JPEGMAFIA.

British girl group FLO earn its first Top 10 placing at No. 3 with Access All Areas, the long-awaited debut album released via Island Records, and the record makes for the highest spot for a R&B girl group on the charts in 21 years. Shawn Mendes, meanwhile, lands at No. 22 with Shawn, his fifth top 40 album in the U.K. and first in six years.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet continues its reign as a recent top five mainstay by coming in at No. 2, while fellow Grammy nominee Chappell Roan is a non-mover with The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Earlier this week she featured on the longlist of BBC’s Sound Of 2025 competition; the winner will be announced in the new year.

K-pop superstars ATEEZ, meanwhile, continue their chart success streak with their fourth U.K Top 10 record with GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2 which finishes at No. 4. The group’s previous outing, The World EP.Fin: Will, hit No. 2 in December 2023.
