Live Stream Benefit Concert Featuring Marcus King, Chad Gamble, Lamar Williams Jr. and More

On Wed. Dec. 8, a benefit concert will be live-streamed from Macon, Ga. to raise money for the American Heart Association, The Allman Brothers Band Big House Museum, and longtime keyboardist for The Gregg Allman Band and Blind Boys of Alabama, Peter Levin, who received an unplanned heart transplant in Nashville just weeks ago.

The event will also celebrate Gregg Allman’s birthday, happening tomorrow. Notable guest musicians Marcus King (The Marcus King Band), Chad Gamble (Jason Isabell and the 400 Unit), Lamar Williams Jr. (The Allman Brothers Band, Sea Level), Audley Freed (The Black Crowes) and Jimbo Hart (Jason Isabell and the 400 Unit) will also be joining Peter Levin’s band.

While the celebrated keyboardist will not be performing, he commented on the upcoming event via a press release, saying, “Thank you to all my family, friends, fans, and extended music community for your overwhelming love and support during my recovery from my emergency heart transplant. I hope you enjoy this show. I feel there is no better way to say thank you to you all than sharing the gift of music.

The live stream beings at 7 p.m. CT; you can access the free benefit concert here.
