Marcus Rezak Reveals Lineup for ‘Guitar Head’ Release Show with Members of Twiddle, Cubensis and More

Marcus Rezak has revealed the full lineup for his upcoming show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, which will feature the official debut of his new album, Guitar Head. Rezac will be joined on the nightclub’s storied stage by the Guitar Head Band, featuring Adrian Tramontano of Twiddle, Scott Barsky of the Higgs, and Scott Hannay, who performs with Mihali. The event is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 15 and will include special guest appearances from fan-favorites of the jam scene.

After an opening set from Angelino jam quintet Shaky Feelin’, Rezak will take the stage alongside Tramontano on drums, Barsky on bass and Hannay on keys. The group will intermittently open a seat for special guest appearances throughout the night, with Chan Kinchla of Blues Traveler, Pink Floyd collaborator Scott Page, Frank Zappa bassist Arthur Barrow and Nate LaPointe, guitarist for Grateful Dead revival group Cubensis, booked to show their support for Rezak’s new project.

Rezak released Guitar Head on November 10, 2023, marking his latest full-length offering after 2021’s Truth in Sound, which recorded with Russell Lawton, Tony Markellis and Ray Paczkowski of the Trey Anastasio Band in Anastasio’s Vermont barn. For his latest album, Rezak invited collaboration from Paczkowski, Tramontano, Chris DeAngelis and Erik Lawrence of Little Feat, as well as support behind the boards from Grammy-winning producer Paul Nelson. This event will present the live debut of the album in its entirety, selections have which have been strewn throughout Rezak’s engagements since its release.
