Members of Cool Cool Cool, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Thievery Corporation and More to Honor Alanis Morissette

A slew of musicians will once again come together to celebrate Alanis Morissette next month. Slated to be held at Denver’s Cervantes’ Other Side on January 20, the night will feature a complete performance of Morissette’s 1995 classic, Jagged Little Pill. Confirmed performances include: Shira Elias (Cool Cool Cool), Sammi Garett (Cool Cool Cool), Ashley Niven, Mikey Carubba (Cool Cool Cool), Shawn Eckels (Andy Frasco & The U.N.), Dan Africano (Thievery Corporation) and DJ Williams (Shots Fired). Sublime tribute act 40 Oz To Freedom will open the night. A similar mix of musicians have celebrated Morissette’s breakthrough release duringother jam sessions over the past six years.

The performance will take place during Cervantes’ 21st anniversary celebration. Sages & Spirits featuring Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra), John Kadlecik (Furthur, Jerry Garcia Band, Dark Star Orchestra), Rob Barraco (Dark Star Orchestra, The Dead), Jay Lane (Dead & Company, Wolf Bros, RatDog, Primus), Skip Vangelas (Dark Star Orchestra) and Jake Wolf (Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue) will perform in the venue’s main space the same night.
