Mountain Jam Announces Initial 2025 Artist Lineup: Khruangbin, Mt. Joy, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and More

Mountain Jam Festival has outlined its initial 2025 artist lineup. After a six-year hiatus, the forthcoming occasion will occur at a new location, Belleayre Mountain in Highmount, N.Y., from June 20-22, 2025. Khruangbin and Mt. Joy will headline the beloved Northeastern gathering, and another mystery guest–to be announced before the event.

In addition to the event’s headliners, Mountain Jam Festival extends its musical offerings with fellow artist inclusions: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Trampled by Turtles, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Julien Baker & Torres, moe., Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Dogs in a Pile, Karina Rykman, Kitchen Dwellers, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge, Mikael Davis, Upstate, Shane Guerrette and more.

Prior to Mountain Jam Festival’s 2019 initiated hiatus, the event occurred on a yearly occasion beginning in 2005 by Radio Woodstock to celebrate 25 years of independent and eclectic radio, growing its status as the ultimate spot to experience a revered selection of jambands while also offering space for genres to collide, as the lineup represents acts with rock, folk, indie, roots, and Americana tendencies.

The event pulls its name from the Allman Brothers Band’s song by the same name, forged by late-era band member Warren Haynes, a collaborator and founder alongside Radio Woodstock. What began as a single-day gathering has expanded with time, alluding to increased interest in the occasion until its last iteration.

2019’s final gathering at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts featured performances from then-headliners Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers and Gov’t Mule. The following year, 2020, the global pandemic displaced live music offerings, resulting in the dissolution of that year’s events and subsequent hiatus due to logistical constraints.

With the event back, tickets for the 2025 festival are on sale. For more information, visit mountainjamfestival.com.
