Munich Mayor Leaks News of 2024 AC/DC Tour

A German mayor has made a bit of a boo-boo, accidentally spilling the beans on AC/DC‘s plans to announce their first European gig in eight years.

Mayor of Munich Dieter Reiter apparently blew the surprise when he let the news slip that Acca Dacca will be playing at Munich’s Olympiastadion on Wednesday, 12th June 2024 during a council meeting, in front of a reporter from local paper Bayerischer Rundfunk.

AC/DC – ‘Through The Mists Of Time’

According to the UK’s Planet Radio, Rieter apparently confessed after the fact that he “didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret”.

Assuming his info is legit, we can only assume the Aussie hard rock icons have a full blown European tour in the works.

The hypothetical show would mark AC/DC’s first on European soil since 2016, back when Axl Rose was fronting the band. They haven’t played in Europe with Brian Johnson since 2015.

The legendary band made their highly-anticipated live comeback headlining the US’s massive Power Trip festival last month.
