Audible Theater has announced that Norah Jones and yMusic will join The Energy Curfew Music Hour‘s live show as special musical guests at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York on Jan. 10. The Energy Curfew Music Hour is an eight-episode Audible series created by Nickel Creek and Punch Brothers mandolinist Chris Thile and actress Claire Coffee.

The show will be presented as an “acoustic musical variety show,” with Jones, yMusic and Punch Brothers on stage at Minetta Lane for the live recording. The first five shows were sold out with an array of special guests, including James Taylor, Jason Isbell, Sylvan Esso, Vulfmon, and Louis Cato.

The concept was inspired by a near-future scenario in which electricity is rationed worldwide. The “energy curfew” is the time each week when the grid shuts down for the next 24 hours, necessitating a weekly energy purge. In a release, Audible called The Energy Curfew Music Hour, “an hour of music-driven revelry broadcast across the nation an hour before the lights go out.”

Special guests for the series’ subsequent shows on Jan. 24 and 27 will be announced soon.

Limited seats are still available for the remaining three shows. Learn more and find tickets here.
