NUOVA partners with Basic.Space and Studio Temps for a series of limited edition designs

Luxury creative design house NUOVA has partnered with the revolutionary curated iOS shopping platform Basic.Space for a series of minimalist designs on the the social commerce platform’s “Select Day” launch.

Sitting at the intersection of material architecture and circular design, NUOVA is adding Basic.Space to a long list of collaborators including Tesla, Google, Yeezy, Cartier and Rimowa. This “Select Day” launch presents two exclusive product sets in collaboration with New Bottega and Studio Temps. NUOVA has designed and produced two homeware pieces for @newbottega, the “Resort Rug 60-21” and “Vision Mirror 59-21” which make up the exclusive collaboration, inspired by Daniel Lee’s minimal aesthetic for Bottega Veneta.

The RESORT RUG, designed in Lee’s Bottega Green is made entirely by hand and from 100% semi-worsted wool. The resort rug is derived from sheep residing in the region between Nepal and Tibet, known to be the softest on earth.

The VISION MIRROR is constructed from the same solid aerospace grade aluminium commonly used to build aircrafts, the Vision Mirro pays homage to Daniel Lee’s famous Bottega eyewear. Designed in coral pink, each mirror is one-of-a-kind an 100% recyclable. 

The most covetable of the NUOVA basic.space launches has to be the pocelain espresso BAR SET, handmade in Arita, Japan in collaboration with Bergamo based graphic design studio Studio Temp. the BAR set utilizes a special porcelain only found in the Southern Japan region — pure and white — with artwork decorated with a traditional graphic application used for over centuries. Included in the set, a coffee tray cast in bio-resin holds and displays the cups, while doubling as a drying rack inspired by espresso bars in the North of Italy.

To complement the BAR SET, NUOVA presents Japanese-streetwear inspired ready-to-wear. The BAR REGALI tailor made hooded sweatshirt and t-shirt are available in a clean white design and oversized fit, with a simple, yet bold blue printed design.
