Press Club have detailed their fourth studio album, entitled To All The Ones That I Love. The album is set for independent release on Friday, May 2nd – although it will be distributed via Intertia in Australia and Cargo within the UK and Europe – and is the official follow-up to their 2022 album Endless Motion. To coincide with the album’s official announcement, the band have shared a new double A-side from it: ‘Tightrope’ and ‘Vacate’. In a press statement regarding the former, lead vocalist Natalie Foster describes it as “hitting that point where you’re done trying to fix things”.

“‘Tightrope’ is about … becoming frustrated and numb taking on everybody else’s thoughts, worries and expectations,” she said. “It’s that feeling of barely holding it together, like you’re walking a tightrope on the edge of a breakdown. Musically, it’s a bit of an ode to The Hives, [as it was] written after meeting them at Hurricane festival in Germany.”

Prior to the announcement of To All The Ones That I Love, several singles from it were shared by the band. ‘No Pressure’ was released in October 2023, and featured Foster’s guitar-playing debut within the Press Club fold. ‘Champagne & Nikes’ followed a year later in October 2024, ahead of the band’s 44-date national tour in support of Grinspoon, with ‘Wasted Days’ being released last month.

The album was produced by the band’s guitarist Greg Rietwyk and recorded at his studio Lunchroom Records, located in Melbourne’s western suburbs. To launch it, they will play two launch shows in their native Melbourne the day after its release, on Saturday, May 3rd. Both shows will take place at The Tote in Collingwood, with an all-ages show set for the afternoon and an 18+ show set for the evening. Tickets for the former can be purchased here, while tickets for the latter can be found here.

To All The Ones That I Love can be pre-ordered and pre-saved via Feature.FM.
