Professor Louie & The Crowmatix to Celebrate The Band Thanksgiving Weekend

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix will celebrate the music of The Band this weekend. The ensemble, who have worked with the members of the legendary group, will host their special Thanksgiving celebration and tribute to The Band at New York’s historic Cafe Wha? on Saturday, November 30. (The Band, of course, have been associated with Thanksgiving themselves since hosting the gig filmed for The Last Waltz.) The following weekend, The Crowmatix will stage another tribute to The Band during a show at Hudson Falls, NY’s The Strange Theatre on Sunday, December 8. The Woodstock Horns will augment  Professor Louie & The Crowmatix  at that performance. 

The Grammy-nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix recently released a new holiday song, “A Different Christmas.” The track is currently available on most streaming services.
