Runaway Gin Plot 500th Performance

On Saturday, January 11, Phish tribute band Runaway Gin will celebrate the ensemble’s 500th performance in the 11 years since joining together. The celebratory affair is set to take place at Charlotte, N.C.’s Visulite Theatre, with the staging beginning at 8:00 p.m. Additionally, the event will feature immersive projections, provided by longtime collaborators Character Zero Visualizations.

The momentous 500th staging is just the beginning of another jam-packed, jam-centric year for Runaway Gin. The following week, Runaway Gin will head further south for performances in Columbia, S.C., and Atlanta, with a Friday, Jan. 17 show at the New Brookland Tavern and a Saturday set at Smith’s Olde Bar, respectively. 

The band is also set for upcoming performances in St. Petersburg, Fla., Boca Raton, Fla., and Knoxville, Tenn. in the next few months, with more shows to be announced, as per the band’s website.
