Solid Sound Festival 2024 Unveils Lineup

The highly anticipated Solid Sound Festival, hosted and curated by Wilco, is set to captivate audiences at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams, Mass., from June 28 to 30. Today, festival organizers proudly announced the star-studded lineup for 2024.

Renowned for its diverse and surprising programming, Solid Sound Festival has become a hallmark in the festival circuit. Today’s lineup announcement revealed 2024’s performers, further solidifying its commitment to delivering top-tier talent and unique experiences.

Performing at this year’s Solid Sound are Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Dry Cleaning, Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets, Wednesday, Horsegirl, Ratboys, Water From Your Eyes, and more. True to tradition, Wilco will take center stage with multiple headline sets, accompanied by performances from band members’ independent and solo projects.

Solid Sound Festival distinguishes itself not only through its musical offerings but also through its distinctive non-musical programming. Attendees can expect a live presentation of Hrishikesh Hirway’s acclaimed Song Exploder podcast, John Hodgman’s Comedy Cabaret, live painting from the legendary Steve Keene, and a variety of Substack Pop-Up Interviews.

The expansive galleries of MASS MoCA will showcase temporary exhibitions from Laurie Anderson, Osman Khan, Elle Pérez, Amy Yoes, and Jason Moran, complemented by beloved long-term loan exhibitions from Louise Bourgeois, James Turrell, Sol Lewitt, and others.
