Soule Monde Announce New Year’s Eve Performance with Rob Compa

Following yesterday’s announcement that LaMP would cancel their three-stop run in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and growing concern over the omicron variant, band members Ray Paczkowski and Russ Lawton have shared they will perform at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vt. on Dec. 31 as the avant funk duo, Soule Monde. Dopapod bassist Rob Compa will also join them for the occasion. 

Dopapod canceled their New Year’s Eve swing through Texas last Friday. The band was slated to perform in three cities in The Lone Star State, the final with Lighting Director Luke Stranton, who has worked with the band for 11-years. Read the full story here

LaMP was scheduled to perform at Nectar’s as the final stop to their reunion tour. Following yesterday’s cancellation, the spot was filled by Soule Monde, who will perform an earlier set in what is being dubbed A New Year’s Eve Extravaganza.
