Closing its doors back in 2016, one of the world’s most lauded nightclubs and dance venues has finally started to show signs of re-emergence. Space Ibiza owner Pepe Roselló made headlines earlier this month with the announcement that he will open Space Sun Beach, a musical restaurant and bar in Ses Variades region of Sant Antoni.

Now, Ibizan locals and tourists have spotted a Space billboard on the side of the Hard Rock Hotel in Playa D’en Bossa, indicating the return is “coming soon.” While exciting, it remains unclear whether or not this billboard marks the same Space return as the expected summer 2022 opening of Roselló’s Space Sun Beach.

The Hard Rock Hotel is owned by The Matutes Group, the same group that owns Hï, the pulsing nightclub that took over Space’s venue back in 2016. The Matutes Group and Roselló have run into their share of public legal battles and disputes since the group refused to renew Space’s license six years ago, leaving the world wondering who owns the renowned Space brand.

Regardless of legalities, it seems that attendees and tourists with a vaccine passport or Digital Green Certificate have something out of this world to look forward to, and it’s coming soon. Stay in the loop for more information regarding the resurgence of the hottest nightclubs on Earth.
