Speed Announce 2025 Regional Australian Tour
Speed have announced their longest Australian tour yet, set to start in the early days of 2025. The ARIA Award-nominated Sydney hardcore band will play 16 shows across January and February, taking them from coast to coast nationally. The full list of tour dates can be found below.
The band undertook a national tour back in August in support of their debut album, the freshly J Award–nominated Only One Mode. They were joined by the UK’s High Vis, the US’ Pain Of Truth and Singapore’s Fuse – all of whom played their own shows away from the theatre tour. Next month will see the band return to their native Sydney for A Sydney Hardcore Xmas, where they will play at both the Manning Bar and Mary’s Underground on December 21st and 22nd, respectively. Both have since sold out, with $10,000 from ticket sales going to Marrickville not-for-profit First Nations Response.
Speed – ‘Don’t Need’
Speed began the year performing at the second-annual Knotfest Australia alongside Pantera, Disturbed, Lamb of God and Halestorm, amongst others. They also toured internationally, including a run in North America supporting Knocked Loose. They were meant to perform at Download Festival in the UK, but pulled out of the festival due to its ties with Barclays – which the festival have since cut.
