Star Kitchen Announce Upcoming Performance at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia

The Disco Biscuits side project, Star Kitchen, announced that they will perform at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on Feb. 4.

The ensemble, which features Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Danny Mayer (Eric Krasno Band), Rob Marscher (Addison Groove Project) and Marlon Lewis (Lauryn Hill, John Legend), will be joined by James Casey for the occasion.

After forming two years ago, Star Kitchen made waves in the jamband scene with breakout sets at Electric Forest, Jam Cruise, High Sierra Music Festival and the Peach Music Festival, along with consistent rehearsals and headlining shows and clubs in the northeast.

Marc Brownstein commented, “To be able to play the new Brooklyn Bowl in Philly for the first time is an honor in itself. To be able to be playing it with my favorite saxophone player, James Casey, on his birthday no less, takes this to another level. It’s gonna be a party.”

The group is known for cooking up and mixing improvised remixes, classics and deep cuts from the last 50 years to deliver diverse, overlapping and masterful sets with sonic roots in space funk, blues rock, underground hip-hop, psychedelic R&B and live electronic music.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
