Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel Announce MetLife Stadium Show

The Rumours are true: Stevie Nicks is joining Billy Joel for another show on his co-headlining tour on Friday, Aug. 8, at East Rutherford, N.J.’s MetLife Stadium. While Nicks is already set to perform alongside Joel in March of 2025 at Detroit’s Ford Field, this will be the pair’s sole show in the tri-state area. The midsummer affair will also be Joel’s first-ever performance at the vaunted East Rutherford venue, which opened in 2010, though the Long Island native is no Stranger to its history, having performed at the old Giants Stadium many times over the years.

Prior to the convergence of talent, fans can catch Joel at Belmont Park, N.Y.’s own UBS Arena, this New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, and keep up with his tour as it continues in January of 2025. Sting is slated to join Joel for five stagings in the new year, beginning Feb. 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, as well as Syracuse, N.Y.’s JMA Wireless Dome on April 11 and Milwaukee’s American Family Field on April 26. In May, the pair wil head to Charlotte, N.C.’s Bank of America Stadium and Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium on the 10 and 23, respectively.

To kick off the month of June, the “Piano Man” himself will head across the pond for a set of performances, with a June 7 set at Edinburgh, Scotland’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield, and a June 21 show at Anfield in Liverpool, England. The co-billed MetLife date with Nicks will bring the tour to its end, and Joel back to the East Coast. 

Tickets for the powerhouse double-bill go live  Friday, Dec. 13 at 10:00 a.m. EST and will be available for select pre-sales on Monday, Dec. 9.
