Sultan + Shepard give Le Youth, Lane 8, and Jyll’s ‘I Will Leave A Light On’ a melodic spin

It’s only been a month since About Us arrived, but its remixes are already underway. Back In August, Le Youth partnered up with the This Never Happened boss as well as Jyll for what may ultimately become Dancing Astronaut‘s 2023 Track of the Year when it’s all said and done. And with Le Youth’s sophomore album tour in full swing, he reunited with Sultan + Shepard—with whom he collaborated with a couple of times before on Reminders—to commission the duo with a take on “I Will Leave A Light On.”

And Sultan + Shepard—who also put out an album on Lane 8’s label earlier in the year—do what they do best on this remix, reimagining a fan-favorite track from 2023 with their own melodic house spin that makes a sublime creation that much more delectable. While we can only hope for an eventual proper collaboration between the duo, Lane 8, and Le Youth, stream Sultan + Shepard’s rework below.
