The Offspring‘s Dexter Holland and Noodles are the latest guests on the SPIN Presents Lipps Service podcast, during which they and host Scott Lipps chat about the inspiration behind their new album, Supercharged, and the bond between them and fellow SoCal punk bands Pennywise, Bad Religion, NOFX and Rancid.

They further touch on how playing chess helped them get signed to Epitaph Records, writing the hit “Come Out and Play,” the merits of running a triathlon, choosing a set list, performing at the infamous Woodstock ’99, their top five restaurants in Southern California and performing with Ed Sheeran, Queen’s Brian May and new Linkin Park vocalist Emily Armstrong.
