The String Cheese Incident to Requite Negative COVID Test at NYE Shows

The String Cheese Incident will forge ahead with their New Year’s Eve shows. However, the group will require fans to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. Masks will also be required at all times during the shows.

The ensemble explained:

“Hey Cheese Family,
We have actively been monitoring the current live music situation with absolute respect for the safety of everyone involved. We have decided to proceed and play our scheduled NYE run in Chicago. The venue will require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time AND masks will be required at all times. If you are attending please be safe and respectful. We will see you on the 30th.

The Colorado-bred group are slated to close out the year at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre on December 30 and 31.
