Today, Jan. 22, The Wood Brothers have officially announced a considerable expansion to their 2025 tour itinerary. Extending from their previously announced 18-stop winter tour, the roots rock trio’s latest dispatch adds 12 further dates to keep them on the road through the spring and step onto some storied stages of the summer festival circuit. Highlights among this series include a fistful of dates with The String Cheese Incident, including support for their annual return to Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The Wood Brothers’ newly announced tour dates will begin with a May 3 performance at Tedeschi Trucks Band’s second-annual Sun, Sand and Soul festival in Miramar Beach, Fla., where they’ll appear in the closing bill alongside the host band and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country. The trio of brothers Chris and Oliver Wood and multi-instrumentalist Jano Rix will follow this first festival date by jumping on the road with The String Cheese Incident for engagements in Raleigh, N.C., Charlotte, N.C. and Huber Heights, Ohio from May 16-18.

On May 20, the band will cut out on their own for a show at Virginia Arts Festival in Norfolk, Va., then perform in Rocky Mount, Va. on the following evening before taking part in Cumberland, Md.’s beloved DelFest on May 22. They’ll race up the East Coast for sets in King of Prussia, Pa. and Asbury Park, N.Y. on May 23 and 24, then return home to the Centennial State to reunite with fellow Coloradans The String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks on July 18. The trio will conclude their time on the summer festival circuit with appearances at Charlestown, R.I.’s Rhythm & Roots Festival from August 29-31 and Las Vegas’ Bender Jamboree from Sept. 9-13.

The Wood Brothers will commence their year of touring on Feb. 6 with a performance at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.’s Culture Room, then dash into a lap around the Southeast and West Coast. As they prime for departure, they’re putting the finishing touches on a new studio album, planned to release this summer.
