Tool Drummer Danny Carey Arrested For Assault After Airport Altercation

TMZ has reported that Tool drummer Danny Carey was arrested on Monday after getting physical with another individual at the Kansas City International Airport. Allegedly, the drummer shoved a man in the chest with two fingers and shouted a homophobic slur.

A citation from Kansas City Airport Police states, “[Carey] did intentionally cause… unlawful, offensive contact upon [name redacted] by yelling at the complainant, ‘You’re a f*****g f****t’ repeatedly, and jabbing the complainant in the chest repeatedly.”

Danny Carey was booked for misdemeanor assault and was later released on bond. He is expected to appear in court on Jan. 12– Just days after Tool is scheduled to make their return to the road for a massive world tour. Read more here.
