Tory Lanez has been accused of using prison calls to orchestrate a harassment campaign against Megan Thee Stallion.

In October, Megan filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz alleging she shared deepfake porn of her and spread lies about the rapper’s case with Lanez. The suit also accused Gramz – real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper – of “cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy”.

Earlier this week, Megan’s attorneys at the law firm Quinn Emanuel updated their lawsuit against Cooper. The lawyers revealed that they obtained Lanez’s prison calls via subpoena, proving the rapper – real name Daystar Peterson – is still orchestrating a harassment campaign with Milagro against Megan from behind bars.

In a court filing uploaded by entertainment lawyer and reporter Meghann Cuniff, Megan’s lawyers wrote: “[Cooper’s] false statements regarding the Trial are part and parcel of a conspiratorial relationship with Peterson, in which [Cooper] acts as a paid surrogate used to spread Peterson’s lies about [Megan].”

Her lawyers also claimed Lanez’s prison call logs “demonstrate [that he] has repeatedly discussed [Cooper] with his father”, and the two “confidently asserted that [Megan] would never be able to prove that Peterson pays or paid [Cooper] for attacking [Megan]”.

The lawyers remained adamant that Cooper was “consciously coordinating with [Megan]’s convicted assaulter” to “amplify [Lanez’s] disproven and baseless theories” and “help him seek retribution against [Megan]” – causing her “severe emotional distress”.

Neither Lanez nor Gramz have commented on Megan’s updated complaint.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison last August for an incident that happened in July 2020, when Megan was shot in her feet while leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s house.

He was found guilty of all three charges pegged against him: one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm; one count of carrying a concealed, loaded, and unregistered firearm in a vehicle; and one charge of discharging a firearm with gross negligence. The rapper-singer has maintained his innocence from behind bars and was granted a chance to appeal the judgement this July.

Pete has opened up about the incident in her new documentary Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, released back in October via Amazon Prime Video.

This April, Pete issued a “final” response to the incident. In her response, she reflected on the “humiliation” she faced from the public when coming forward with the claims.

In other news, Megan has teamed up with TWICE for the second time this year with the upbeat power-pop song, ‘Strategy’. They first collaborated on the remix of ‘Mamushi’ back in October – the viral gold-selling hit from the rapper’s third album, ‘Megan’.

‘Megan’ was also ranked Number 48 on NME‘s 50 best albums of 2024 list, and its second single ‘Hiss’ scored the 10th spot on the 50 best songs of 2024 run-down.
