K-pop girl group TWICE have teased a brand-new world tour set for next year, according to a statement by their label JYP Entertainment.

On December 17, TWICE and JYP Entertainment released a statement through Ilgan Sports for fans, teasing plans for 2025. The nine-piece shared that they are set to embark on a new world tour in the coming year, which will mark their sixth world tour overall.

“We sincerely thank you for sending us so much love from all over the world. Next year, in addition to our special guest appearance at British band Coldplay’s Korea concert, we are also planning a completely new world tour with surprising, awesome stages,” it read.

TWICE are to perform as special guests at Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ concerts in Seoul for all six days in April 2025 at the Goyang Stadium. Although details about the band’s 2025 tour are scarce, more information is expected to be released in the coming months.

The tour announcement comes a little over a week since TWICE released their 14th mini-album ‘Strategy’, led by a title track of the same name featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The record marked TWICE’s second release of 2024, following their February mini-album ‘With You-th’ and its lead single ‘One Spark’.

In 2024, vocalist Nayeon and Japanese subunit MISAMO also released new music, while youngest member Tzuyu made her solo debut with the mini-album ‘abouTZU’.

Megan Thee Stallion’s feature on ‘Strategy’ also makes the song TWICE’s second collaboration with the rapper so far. The K-pop act were previously featured on a remix of the rapper’s hit song ‘Mamushi’ in October, which she released as part of her deluxe album ‘MEGAN: Act II’.
