Since first stepping onto the scene in 2011, Tyler Childers has seen a meteoric rise, earning an Americana Music Award, a RIAA certified Platinum record, seven Grammy nominations and an ever-expanding fan community. Today, Nov. 14, the alt-country star rides that tidal wave of acclaim into 2025 with the announcement of a massive tour, set the bring the artist to 27 high-profile stages across the country (and one overseas) from April to November. For this run, the Bluegrass State Golden Boy will welcome a team of 10 special guests, underscoring the caliber of his profile with icons like Wynonna Judd and Charley Crockett.
Childers will set out on his 2025 tour with an April 3 performance at New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center, featuring fellow Kentucky-based singer-songwriter S.G. Goodman. As the neotraditional country innovator moves through the South with stagings at Little Rock, Ark.’s Simmons Bank Arena and Oklahoma City’s Paycom Arena on April 6 and 7, he’ll be joined by Cory Branan, who will stay with Childers when he jumps north to Minneapolis’ Target Center on April 9. Goodman will tap in again to support an April 13 gig at Charlottesville, Va.’s John Paul Jones Arena, then Rhode Island folk-rockers Deer Tick will sign on for stops in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina on April 15 and 16. On April 19, Childers will return to his home state for a stadium show at Lexington, Ky.’s Kroger Field; for this landmark appearance, he’ll welcome Wynonna–also a Kentucky legend–and Goodman.
Childers will set off the second leg of his 2025 tour on May 29 with a performance in Jacksonville, Fla. with Goodman, followed by a show without an opener at Panama City Beach, Fla. on May 31. After an Alabama staging, he’ll join up with Hayes Carll for a run through the Southwest, stopping in Houston, Albuquerque, N.M., Las Vegas and Phoenix from June 3-8. Childers will arrive on the West Coast on June 10 for an engagement at Los Angeles’ prestigious Hollywood Bowl, marking the occasion with appearances from the iconic Robert Earl Keen and Soma.
On July 26 and 27, Childers will present a two-night stand at East Troy, Wis.’s Alpine Valley Music Theater, with company from The Hold Steady and Medium Build on both nights to emphasize his alternative leanings. Come September, he’ll hop to the East Coast to set off a nine-stop fall run, beginning with bookings in Camden, N.J., Mansfield, Mass. and Bristow, Va. on Sept 24, 25 and 27 with Medium Build and Soma. The remainder of Childers’ 2025 tour will be framed by a pair of two-night stands; after bringing Medium Build to Queens, N.Y.’s Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 29 and 30, he’ll make two stops in Ohio with Carll on Oct. 3 and 7 before a grand finale at Nashville, Tenn.’s GEODIS Park on Oct. 10 and 11, featuring Branan and the great Charley Crocket. After the lights go down, Childers will conclude his year of touring with a show at London’s The O2 on Nov. 15.
Tickets for Childers’ 2025 tour will be available through Artist Presale on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 local time; presale registration is open now through Sunday, November 17 at 11:59 p.m. ET. A general on-sale will follow next Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 local time. $1 from every ticket sold will go to both Childers’ Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, focused on supporting philanthropic development in Appalachia, and REVERB, which aspires to reduce the environmental footprint of the live music industry.
