Venom Prison Have Released A Devilishly Stunning New Track ‘Judges Of The Underworld’

The first taste of ‘Erebos’ is here.

After revealing the release date and artwork of their new album ‘Erebos’ last month, Venom Prison have now released the first track from it.

And it’s a little beauty.

It’s called ‘Judges Of The Underworld’ and finds the band flexing their metal muscles a lot more than on their previous output. Haunting clean vocals, spiralling guitar solos and white knuckle drum fills, it’s a fist-in-the-air epic. Though that doesn’t mean that there is any less hellish imagery, beatdown brutality and death metal attitude seeping out of every pour either. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Venom Prison what they are, in the past, present and future, and kicks off this cycle in stunning style.

The band had this to say about the song’s themes:

“’Judges Of The Underworld’ deals with the crippling reality of people who face incarceration, who oftentimes are followed by violence over a lifetime. This violence can present itself as a dominating factor in a context of structural poverty and racial inequality, creating roles in an individual’s life where they are not only the victim, but also witness and offender at different times in different situations. But the violence we address in our courts and prisons is judged out of social context and can therefore not lead to a fair and personalised resolution for people who are stuck in a cycle of violence and systematic oppression.”

And here it is:

‘Erebos’ will be dropping on February 04 2022 via Century Media.

The artwork looks like this:
