Probably the biggest tribute to the song ever

17 years on and Green Day’s ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ is still as damning, dark and deafeningly iconic. It will most probably feel exactly the same in 17 years time.

But how do you make it even more epic? You get 150 people to play it.

CITYROCKS, the biggest rock band in Central Europe, have taken on the song in their latest flashmob, straight from Bánffy Castle in Bontida, Romania.

From the sea of drummers to the plethora of guitarists to the huge choir of voices, the group take the song to another level of depth and destruction. 

And it makes the glorious sunshine feel that little bit dimmer.

It’s not the only rock song the collective have made their mark on.
