Watch: Paramount+ Drops Official Trailer for New Willie Nelson Docuseries

A new trailer for the docuseries Willie Nelson & Family has been shared by Paramount+. The four-part presentation was produced by Taylor Sheridan and directed by Thom Zimmy and Oren Moverman. The series is the first to explore the intricate and profound details of the famed outlaw country musician’s life. Watch below. 

Included are rare archival clips that capture scenes of Nelson on tour, playing his guitar Trigger, and spending time alongside friends and family, such as Nelson’s beloved sister, Bobbie, who passed away in 2022.

Intermixed is a series of interviews that capture the tone of the artist’s experience, from ups and downs, successes and failures, that serves as a feature of his jovial character and perseverance, at age 90.

Apart from family, the docuseries also features cameos from admirers and contemporaries from the music world, like Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, Sheryl Crow, Rosanne Cash, and more, who share stories and memories related to the outlaw troubadour and his many adventures. 

Willie Nelson & Family will exclusively stream via Paramount+ beginning on Dec. 21.
