Great Southern Nights have further expanded their 2025 concert series with dozens of new additions, taking place across New South Wales from late March to early April 2025. Among the shows freshly announced are You Am I, reviving their 2013 Hi-Fi Daily Double tour for one night only as the Hi-Fi Daily Double Down at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, April 4th. There, they will perform 1995’s Hi-Fi Way and 1996’s Hourly, Daily in their entireties across two sets.

Mallrat – who recently announced a national tour in support of her upcoming album Light hit my face light a straight right – will also perform at the Enmore Theatre the night before on Thursday, April 3rd. In a press statement, the Brisbane-based singer said that she was “so excited to be partnering with Great Southern Nights” in conjunction with her album tour. “[It’s] such an important event, and I am very appreciative of all the great work they do for Australian music,” she said.

Sydney-siders have been given a multitude of new shows, including Budjerah performing at Marrickville’s Factory Theatre, Killing Heidi performing at Leichhardt’s Crowbar and Alison Wonderland performing at the recently-opened Machine Hall in the CBD. The new announcements are not, however, limited to the big smoke: Fanning Dempsey National Park will head to Byron Bay to kick off their regional tour, while Teenage Joans will play both Newcastle and Wollongong.

Headed out the furthest into outback New South Wales are The Screaming Jets, who will perform at the Civic Centre in Broken Hill on Friday, April 4th. “We’re pumped to be heading back,” the band said in a press statement. “The last time we played there was in 1992, so it’s been a long time between Broken Hill beers.” Arts Minister John Graham also provided a statement on the concert series, saying that “this line-up keeps getting better and better”.

“Music fans, venues and artists have been doing it tough during the cost-of-living crisis. Great Southern Nights is about firing up the live music scene – getting bands back on stage, filling up venues and bringing communities together for great nights out.”

Great Southern Nights’ first announcement from last month featured the likes of Lime CordialeARIA Hall Of Famer Missy Higgins,  Ben LeeThe Beths and King Stingray. The newly-updated program can be viewed in full by heading to the Great Southern Nights website.
